Glam Seamless Closed: Remy vs RAW vs Donna Bella
Remy & Virgin is not Glam Seamless, Donna Bella Hair, or Beauty Industry Group, and we are not affiliated with them. Facts below come from those brands’ own public notices. We manufacture 100% RAW Indian temple hair — both Remy (cuticle-aligned) and Virgin (chemically unprocessed). That is a different grade than processed Remy.
Glam Seamless stopped as a storefront in late 2025. Beauty Industry Group already owned the brand. They pointed customers to sister brand Donna Bella Hair and ran a first-order discount there.
Donna Bella is the official handoff. We are not. If you only want another BIG Remy line with tape-ins and clip-ins in fashion colors, start there.
This article is for people who used Glam and are now asking a different question: what grade of hair was that — and is there an unprocessed, single-donor option?
What Glam Seamless sold
Glam sold both consumer and salon methods: clip-ins, tape-ins, wefts, keratin bonds, halo bands, tools, and education kits. It was built as an accessible Remy line, then folded into a multi-brand extension group.
That catalog is why Google still shows Glam URLs for “tape in extensions human hair,” “best human hair extensions,” “invisible tape in extensions,” and 22–24 inch wefts. The domain is decaying. The queries are not.
Glam vs Donna Bella vs RAW temple hair
Glam Seamless: closed. Was Beauty Industry Group. Marketed as 100% Remy, typically colored to a shade line. Tape, clip-in, weft, keratin, halo.
Donna Bella Hair: sister brand in the same group. Official replacement. Also Remy, with overlapping methods.
Remy & Virgin: independent manufacturer. 100% RAW Indian temple hair, single donor, ethically sourced from South Indian temples. Cuticle-aligned and chemically unprocessed. No silicone coating. Bundles, bulk, and clip-ins from the same RAW hair. A RAW bundle is not a pre-taped Glam tab — and we do not grade Raw hair on an 8A/10A ladder. Only processed hair gets graded that way.
Remy means the cuticles face the same way. It does not mean unprocessed. Most “Remy” on a tape-in rack is colored. RAW temple hair is a tighter claim: one donor, temple-sourced, Virgin + Remy, no silicone coat, no mixed lots sold as the same thing.
If you were a Glam client
Tape-ins and keratin bonds need a stylist either way. The logo on the tab matters less than the hair inside the weft and the person who removes it.
Clip-ins you can repurchase without a salon. If you liked Glam because it was easy and pre-colored, Donna Bella is the path of least friction.
If the hair faded, matted, or slipped after washes, do not buy the same grade under a new name. Ask your stylist for single-donor RAW weft and a method that fits your density. Put texture and shade notes on the order — natural variation is real.

What to tell a client who asks: Glam closed. Donna Bella is the sister brand. RAW temple hair is a different product — Remy and Virgin together, unprocessed. I can install either. I will not call them the same.
