What is REMY HAIR?

- REMY HAIR is the term that denotes whether the Cuticle of the hair is intact and the cuticles are aligned unidirectional from root to tip completely right from collecting the hair from the donor till its wefted.

Now a days processed Non-REMY hair is labelled as REMY HAIR and sold cheap for marketing purpose which makes you think REMY hair are cheap hair, but ideally thats not the case. Real REMY hair is the highest quality hair.

What is VIRGIN HAIR ?

-VIRGIN HAIR is a term used to denote the hair that has never been color-treated or chemically processed in any way, in other words, the hair that is completely free from perms, bleaches, color treatments, and dyes.

Now a days processed Texture altered hair is labelled as VIRGIN HAIR for marketing purpose which makes you think all steam processed hair are VIRGIN HAIR, but real VIRGIN HAIR should be untouched by chemicals and unprocessed or texture unaltered.

If the cuticle is intact, the hair will not tangle. The cuticle to the hair is like our skin to the body. It keeps the moisture in and retains the natural texture. Remy Hair is more expensive and looks more natural as it is tedious and takes a lot of effort to protect the integrity of the hair that has the cuticle intact.

Remy hair is a smoother, shinier, and healthier appearance than non-remy. This hair feels amazing even after multiple times being washed. Most of our clients can get two or three years of wear with our hair still looking great. The investment is great but well worth it.

Most brands are using Non-REMY hair stripping off the cuticles and chemically process it and coat it with silicon and call them a REMY HAIR or a VIRGIN HAIR which is not true.Those are the Hairs that doesn't lasts long once the silicon are washed off they will start to tangle. We only sell Raw Indian Hair in its natural texture, With Proper care and Maintenance our hair will last more than 2 years.Remember that you have purchased RAW human hair. Yes, our raw hair in natural black and natural brown can be colored to 613. Since all hair is natural, the amount of eumelanin can vary, which means some strands may be more difficult to lighten than others. To achieve a lighter color, bleaching is necessary, and we strongly recommend that this process be performed by a licensed professional.

If you choose to color your hair yourself, we advise you to conduct a strand test on a small section first. For further assistance, it's always best to consult with a professional hair colorist. Please note that once the hair has been colored, we cannot accept returns or exchanges, and our ability to assist with any issues may be limited.

Choosing natural brown bundles for bleaching and coloring is a wise choice. Natural brown hair usually has a more balanced pigment, making it easier to lift while maintaining the hair's integrity.

Conversely, natural black bundles have higher eumelanin content, which can complicate the bleaching process. This may lead to uneven coloring or potential damage if not handled carefully. If you want to bleach or color the hair, please specify that you need natural brown bundles in your order notes.

It’s important to understand that blonde hair should not be colored or bleached further. Since it has already undergone a chemical process to achieve its color, additional treatment could result in undesirable outcomes.

No, colored hair is no longer Virgin. To achieve colored hair, we color our Raw hair using our unique ammonia-free coloring process. When shopping on our site, If the color you select is not Virgin Natural Black or Natural Brown, then the hair has been colored and is not Virgin.

All our hair are cuticle intact unprocessed real high-quality human hair that hasn’t been processed nor altered. As you go higher in human hair quality there will be some frizz. But the coarser the hair the higher the frizz.

To avoid frizzy hair, start with clean wet strands. Apply conditioner and comb through before rinsing with cool water. Once your hair is completely dry, use a leave-in conditioner for protection and Styling extension air-dry. Manipulating the extensions while drying will cause them to frizz again.

This is very normal , especially for those who may be new to hair extensions. Your scalp is going through an adjustment period before getting used of the hair extensions, which are typically heavier that your natural hair. The added weight can cause a mild strain on your scalp, which is the reason the itchiness occurs after you've installed extensions.

You may also experience itchiness from the beard of the weft - its small spiked hairs that may prick the skin, causing the sensation of itch.

Split ends are a natural occurrence in Human Hair. Hair grows from root to tip, ends are the oldest part of any hair. Though we try to remove hairs with split ends, a minimal amount of hair with split ends are possible to be seen in a few products. Since the hair is raw and pure in nature.

For a full install, we recommend two packs if you are trying to achieve 18 inches and under. For 20 inches and over, we may recommend a 3rd pack for a full installation.

We only recommend high-quality hair care products. Always choose sulfate-free products. Avoid using cheap products found at your local drug or grocery store. These products contain chemicals that can dry out the hair. Besides, your local stores often stock old products, which can cause certain chemical agents within the product to be deactivated.

We recommend shampooing and conditioning the hair at least once a week using professional-grade products. If you have Clip-On extensions, this will be about every fourth wear. Since the hair is no longer attached to a live root, properly cleansing and conditioning your extensions is crucial.

Over shampooing (more than 3-4 times a week) will dry out the hair.

Under shampooing (less than once a week) can lead to building up, which will cause tangling and matting.

Leave-in conditioner is the best accessory for your hair after shampooing and conditioning. Leave-in conditioner gives your hair the perfect blend of moisture and UV protection without weighing it down. This will also help keep the hair hydrated and manageable between shampoos.

Co-washing is short for conditioner-only washing. Some people prefer co-washing because using shampoo can sometimes strip the hair of its natural oils, leading to dry and brittle hair. Co-washing is recommended for all textures to help keep the hair hydrated and less frizzy. Always remember to use the high-quality sulfate-free product.

Avoid product that contains sulfate, ammonia, parabens, or harmful chemicals that can dry out your hair.

Don’t use any products that contain SLS, Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, Sodium Laureth Sulphate, Alcohol Denat, SD Alcohol 40, Propanol, Isopropyl, or Propyl.

Over time, as your scalp gets used to the new extensions and the added weight, the itchiness will eventually subside.
2. Sensitive scalp
Usually, if you have a sensitive scalp, the itchiness will occur even if it’s your first time having hair extensions. If you have never dealt with dandruff and the extensions are installed properly, then it’s just your sensitive scalp adjusting to the additional strain on your head. Normally, the itchiness is just mild and will subside after a few days. Also, make sure that you are using the appropriate aftercare routine for your hair.
3. Product build-up
When you have hair extensions, you must properly wash and rinse your hair to get rid of all the products. In doing so, you help prevent product build-up on your hair extensions and scalp.
4. Excessive sweating
If you regularly go to the gym or exercises a lot, you may notice that your head gets itchier as you sweat. This is due to the amount of sweat that sits on your scalp and gets trapped on your hair extensions. The extra weight from the extensions produces additional heat, which contributes to more sweating. Can you go swimming with hair extensions in seawater? Unfortunately, no. This goes for all kinds of hair extensions. Ultimately, excessive exposure to saltwater can damage your hair extensions and cause matting. 

In Chlorine

You can swim in chlorine water with hair extensions. This means that you won’t need to worry much about your hair extensions if you’re traveling abroad for a typical “pool holiday”. However, this doesn’t mean that you don’t have to keep on top of your hair care maintenance.

Making sure your hair extensions are conditioned before swimming is the first and most crucial step in caring for them while you swim. Use a conditioner made specifically for hair extensions because regular conditioners can lead to build-up and a tangled mess, which is something no one wants. 

In Fresh Water

Swimming with hair extensions in fresh water follows the same rules as swimming in chlorine: condition, condition and more conditioning!

A good tip to know is that braiding or tucking your hair out of the way is a great way to protect your extensions whilst still jumping in and out of the pool. We recommend keeping hair braided or in a low bun while swimming to help avoid tangles But not in a ponytail, as this only adds extra tension on the Hair Extensions“.

Braids or a low bun are the ultimate go-to for swimming with hair extensions. This is because, unlike a ponytail, your hair will be completely out of the way and won’t be at risk of getting wet. Additionally, unlike high hairstyles, low hairstyles do not tug on your extensions.

Thoroughly Dry Your Hair Immediately After Swimming

it’s essential to completely dry your hair after swimming to avoid any damage. Remember to blow dry your extensions with a hairdryer rather than letting them air dry. 

 Address Any Knots Straight Away With the Correct Brush

After you’ve had a few laps of swimming, address any knots right away to avoid any further entanglement. Use a paddle brush or a comb with looped bristles to brush your extensions.
